Finally back from Langkawi… The whole trip to Langkawi was a failure to me as I have been organizing so many trips around Malaysia and yet never been one that befallen me… The first day was a failure although it wasn’t exactly my fault but I have to take responsibility for my misleading decision… During the process of planning this trip, I always wanted to arrive at Langkawi latest by noon but due to someone’s request that she had to attend an exam on that particular day so I had to postpone our trip until 6.50pm (actual departure time was 11.15am) then only we are able to start our journey.
First Day (6th May 2009)
Not long after we checked-in, we got yet another bad news that our flight will be delayed… Haiz~ What an unfortunate event… Our flight was delayed for more than two hours. AirAsia compensated our losses with a MaryBrown chicken burger and a bottle of mineral water… Hahahaha~ what a great compensation… You see now “Everyone Can Fly LATEeee”… We arrived at Langkawi at about 11pm... We rented two MPVs (Serena & Grandis) then we headed to our hotel which was less than 15 minutes drive from the airport… our hotel (Federal Villa) is located at the southern part or Langkawi Island. After we arrived at our hotel, we planned to go out to eat but our cars are running low in fuel and no petrol station can be found nearby… so we decided to go around the hotel to search for food as the MaryBrown wasn’t enough to treat to hungriness… We manage to locate a restaurant at the hotel but the food is very expensive so we (Me, Isabel, Ivan & Owen) decided to go out to get some beers instead while others have their dinner at the restaurant… Nevertheless, the beers and liquors there are cheap… We ended our first day by drinking beers and watching football (Chelsea VS Barcelona)…

Second day (7th May 2009)
We begin our journey by going to ZON (located next to Underwater World)… only four of us when to Underwater World while others were still sleeping at hotel… I planned to go around Langkawi before visiting other place (you can’t tell people that you been to langkawi while you never visit the Underwater World, Crocodile Farm and other historical places)… However, by end of the day, we only manage to visit Eagle Square and Billions (Duty Free Store) in Kuah town… Everyone just take their own sweet time shopping… Wasted another day of travelling… but what to do, people just want to come langkawi for shopping and get drunk… Haiz~ After wasting half-a-day, finally we are back at hotel… To tell the truth, I was very upset and disappointed today but no one to tell… so after arrive at hotel, me and isabel went out together and walk around the hotel and in the end we decided to sit by the poolside and drink Corona and chat for several hours before heading back to room… when we back at room, everyone gathers in my room drinking and some already drunk by the time I arrive… We played “Pick and Truth”… Whoever picked the smallest card will have to answer a question posted by others… hehehe~ TRUTH TIME!!! At around 4am, almost everyone were drunk and back to their room… I wanted to sleep but thanks to Shannon… I stayed awake and have to drive all the way one to buy her milk as she is suffering from gastric (she should know better, people with gastric should not drink too much alcohol especially when you are empty stomach)… Haiz~ tiring night….

Third Day (8th May 2009)
Actually, I planned to take cable car to watch sunrise but unfortunately I have to cancelled it as everyone were drunk or still asleep… anyway, I also planned for island hopping… that island hopping was fun and painful (I got SUNBURN)… the island hopping inclusive of snorkeling (we didn’t go snorkeling because the water was awful salty), eagle feeding, visit to Pulau Dayang Bunting(the mountain resemble a pregnant woman) and visit the miracle fresh water lake… after that, we back to hotel and bath… we decided to have our dinner at Wonderland (seafood restaurant at Kuah), so I made a booking at 7pm… I told the girls that we will have to depart from hotel at 6.30pm but in the end we leave around 6.50pm… I was very angry as I don’t like to be late… anyway, I decided to drive a bit faster to catch-up with the lost time… I was speeding at around 80-90 km per hour and suddenly joanne started to cry… she totally spoiled my mood that day, if there is enough space to stop the vehicle… I will definitely stop there and ask them to drive… we didn’t spoke during the dinner and after dinner I ask nadzeem to drive as I was very very upset and angry… The day ended with a sad ending…

Fourth Day (9th May 2009)
This is the longest day ever, as we missed our flight back to KL… I called AirAsia days before departure and after arriving at Langkawi to confirm whether I can collect my tickets latest at 1pm and specifically tell them that my flight was at 1.25pm and they say “YES”, not a problem but on that day they told me that I have to check-in at least 45 minutes before… but I told them I called to confirm and AirAsia staff told me that that wasn’t their fault and we have to pay the excess of RM185.90 per person in order to reschedule our flight to 3.30pm… In the end, we decided to take ferry to Kuala Perlis and take bas back from Kangar because some of us need to catch another flight back home on Sunday… The bas trip took us 7 hours and reach KL at 3am… Then I have to arrange another transport to send them back to Nilai which cause me almost RM 200… Now I am totally broke… POKAI de lo… :X
